(LaPresse) – The Mugello International Circuit and MotoGP have announced the renewal of their agreement for the Italian Grand Prix, securing the future of racing at one of the Championship’s most iconic circuits until the end of the 2031 season. The new agreement reinforces MotoGP’s long-term commitment to a circuit renowned for the passion of its spectators, its spectacular setting and its consistent ability to deliver world-class races. Mugello, which last year celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first motorbike Grand Prix held at the circuit, remains one of the cornerstones of the MotoGP calendar and is widely regarded as one of the most famous and fastest circuits in international motorcycling. Its extraordinary appeal was further confirmed in 2026, when the Italian Grand Prix recorded a record total of 178,723 spectators over the race weekend. “Mugello is much more than just a circuit hosting a Grand Prix. It is one of the homes of MotoGP, where the passion of Italian fans and the history of our sport create a unique atmosphere.
