Rome, 25 Sept. (LaPresse) – Pope Leo XIV has left Rome for his apostolic journey to France: he is due to arrive in Paris at 10.00 and will remain in France until 28 September. Before setting off, the Provost issued a telegram addressed to the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella: “As I prepare to undertake this Apostolic Journey to France, under the watchful eye of the Virgin Mary, to whose intercession we entrust our desire for peace and reconciliation amongst peoples, I am pleased to extend to you, Mr President, my warmest greetings, accompanied by my fervent wishes for the welfare and prosperity of the entire Italian nation.”
