(LaPresse) – Sofia Goggia “has undergone a series of in-depth clinical examinations at the La Madonnina Clinic and the IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, which revealed two different viral infections which, combined, have had an even more severe physical impact, leaving the athlete in a severely weakened state”. This was announced in a statement by FISI, which added that the Italian skier “has already begun her recovery programme in recent days, drawn up in collaboration with the FISI Medical Commission chaired by Dr Andrea Panzeri”.
