Milan, Sept. 25 (LaPresse) – “If President Donald Trump really intends to block diesel exports from the United States, we could witness an energy crisis in Europe on a scale that, in my view, has not been seen in the past 30 years. We could face problems with both supply and prices, considering forecasts of more than 120/140 dollars a barrel for the European benchmark crude oil,” Michele Marsiglia, president of FederPetroli, told LaPresse. “Several investment banks have also estimated figures above normal market increases, and this is a major concern, particularly for the oil and gas investment sector,” Marsiglia concluded.
