(LaPresse) – During yesterday’s meeting at the White House, Donald Trump told Chinese leader Xi Jinping that it would be “unacceptable” for China to provide assistance to Iran during its conflict with the United States. This was reported to CNBC by the US Ambassador to China, David Perdue. “We made it clear to them weeks ago that any form of aid to Iran – whether direct or indirect, in the form of intelligence, components or military equipment – would be absolutely unacceptable,” said the diplomat, adding that “President Trump reiterated this very clearly again yesterday”.
