The world number one tennis player arrived today, Friday 25 September, in the Lombard capital to attend the show for Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear collection, for which he is an ambassador. The Italian champion, seated alongside Vogue’s long-standing editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, announced today that he will not be playing in the 2026 Beijing tournament, thereby postponing his return to the courts once again. Sinner has been sidelined since his victory at Wimbledon 2026 last July due to physical problems. Another tennis champion was also in the audience at Gucci today: the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka.
