Naples, 27 Sept. (LaPresse) – An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale struck at 12.03 off the coast of Romagna, at a depth of 8 km. The epicentre was pinpointed by the INGV’s seismic centre as being approximately 6 km off the coast of Rimini. There are no reports of injury or damage to property. The mayor of Rimini, Jamil Sadegholvaad, stated that “at present, no damage to people or property has been reported” and that “as a precautionary measure, in collaboration with the Anthea company”, “inspections of municipal buildings have been initiated, starting, of course, with schools, and these will continue tomorrow. At present, there are no critical situations”.
