Rome, 28 Sept. (LaPresse) – The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy has announced that, according to the latest data collected by the Mimit Fuel Price Observatory, as of today – Monday 28 September 2026 – the average price of self-service fuel across the national road network stands at 2.152 euro/l for petrol (2.159 euro yesterday) and 2.369 euro/l for diesel (down from 2.377 euro). On the motorway network, however, the average self-service price is 2.214 euros per litre (yesterday: 2.254) for petrol and 2.420 euros per litre for diesel (previously 2.459).
