This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, in response to a question from TASS regarding the resignation of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who is seeking election as prime minister. When asked whether the Russian Federation intends to maintain cordial relations with Serbia and whether it is prepared to establish such relations with any leader of the country, the Kremlin spokesperson emphasised that relations between Moscow and Belgrade go far beyond mere relations with individual figures. “We are therefore convinced that our relations will see a very, very constructive future development in every possible sector,” Peskov stated.
