(LaPresse) – “The new dates bring the Boat Show back to its roots, and the initial figures suggest we’ve made the right choice: more boats, more exhibitors, and we expect more visitors.” This was stated today by the President of the Liguria Region, Marco Bucci, at the end of the press conference presenting the 66th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show, which opens on 1 October and returns to its traditional dates. “What really matters is business,” he continued, “the boating sector must continue to grow, because it means jobs, investment and development for the whole of Liguria. We have always believed in this sector, and the results are clear to see. We have centres of excellence in Imperia, Savona, Genoa and La Spezia, with the Miglio Blu being one of the world’s most important districts for superyachts. Liguria must continue to play a leading role and must not be afraid to aim high.”
