Rome, Sept. 28 (LaPresse) – Italy defeated Turkey 4-1 in Bursa in the second matchday of Group A of the Nations League. Bastoni opened the scoring in the 9th minute, followed by Frattesi’s second goal in the 22nd minute. Five minutes later, debutant Kayode found the net. In the second half, Turkey pulled one back through Yildiz. In the 50th minute, Italy completed the rout with Pio Esposito’s goal. Italy move up to three points in the standings, leaving Turkey on zero. Next Friday, the Azzurri will play their third match away against France.
