Rome, 29 Sept. (LaPresse) – Umberto Pizzi, the photographer of ‘La Dolce Vita’, has died. Pizzi, aged 89, died at his home. Born in Zagarolo, in the province of Rome, in 1937, he worked as a photojournalist for the FAO in the 1960s. Between the 1970s and 1980s, his work focused on Roman high society. He was published in *Time*, *People Magazine*, *Sunday Express Magazine* and in leading national and international newspapers. In the 2000s, he collaborated with the Dagospia website, publishing two books, *Cafonal* and *Ultracafonal*. In recent years, he worked with *Il Fatto Quotidiano*.
