Rome, 29 Sept. (LaPresse) – Flights have resumed at Catania Airport following this morning’s suspension, which was initially due to last until 3.00 pm, following volcanic activity on Mount Etna. SAC, the company managing Catania Airport, has announced in a statement that “following the downgrading of the volcanic activity alert from Red to Orange, flight operations for departures and arrivals at Catania Airport have resumed with immediate effect”.
