Is it really a terrorist organisation?” This was stated by the Pasdaran spokesperson, Hossein Mohebi, during a press conference reported by the Tasnim news agency. Mohebi referred to the letter that the Revolutionary Guards had addressed directly to the American people. “In this letter, we described the nature of the Revolutionary Guards, their foundation, their deep connection with the population, their roots and the services they have provided to their own people – ranging from development and construction projects to the improvement of disadvantaged areas, healthcare and medical assistance, and even support for the peoples of the region,” explained Mohebi. “In the letter,” added the Pasdaran spokesperson, “we wrote that the Revolutionary Guards are considered a terrorist organisation because they prevent aggression against Iran and the killing of people. We ask the American people to study the history of the Revolutionary Guards’ origins and the services they have provided in order to assess whether they are truly a terrorist organisation or not.”
