Milan, Sept. 29 (LaPresse) – The new documents from the investigation by the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office, headed by Fabio Napoleone, have not arrived, the day after the investigation into the Garlasco murder, involving Andrea Sempio over the death of Chiara Poggi, which occurred on August 13, 2007, was closed. The case file, however, is “expected” in the coming days, although the path toward a possible review, it is pointed out, “is long and tortuous” and must be supported by new elements that are “decisive.” In any case, the timing would not be short. Yesterday, Pavia Chief Prosecutor Fabio Napoleone had pointed out that no request for a review had ever been made regarding the trial of Alberto Stasi, convicted of the death of Chiara Poggi: “No request has ever been submitted to the Prosecutor General, who has been and will be kept informed of every aspect deemed potentially relevant.” Last May, Napoleone had presented the Prosecutor General with the documents relating to the first part of the investigation.
