Rome, 30 Sept. (LaPresse) – Some passengers reportedly refused to board the rescue flight sent by Flydubai from Tabuk, after the previous Dubai–Tel Aviv flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia following an alleged attack. According to the Times of Israel, the passengers reportedly insisted on travelling with an Israeli airline. A passenger on the Flydubai flight, which made an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport, told Channel 12 that the Emirati airline’s rescue flight has not yet departed for Israel, as some passengers do not feel comfortable flying with the same airline. The Israeli man stated that the passengers are considering whether to wait for an Israeli rescue flight or to board the aircraft sent by Flydubai. The passenger also reported that no Israeli official has contacted the passengers.
