Milan, Oct. 1 (LaPresse) – The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy reports that, based on the latest data collected by the Mimit Fuel Price Observatory, today – Thursday, October 1 – the average price of fuel in ‘self-service’ mode across the national road network continues to fall, standing at €2.084/l for petrol and €2.285/l for diesel. Prices are also down on the motorway network: the average self-service price is €2.122/l for petrol and €2.328/l for diesel. The gradual decline in fuel prices recorded since Monday follows the decision by Eni, Ip and Q8 to heed the government’s appeal and apply a ‘price cap’ to petrol and diesel at the pump. The cut is widening the price gap compared with companies that have not yet introduced the measure.
