(LaPresse) – The Pentagon is sending a third aircraft carrier and between 9,000 and 10,000 additional troops to the Middle East, whilst US President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of resuming attacks against Iran after the mid-term elections. This is reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which quotes officials as saying that ships, fighter jets, Marines and sailors will arrive in the region by the end of November. According to the newspaper, Trump recently told his aides that he plans to resume air strikes against Iran that very month.
