Rome, Oct. 3 (LaPresse) – Lithuanian authorities have detected what could be a drone outside the Vilnius area, moving toward Jonava, and have issued an air-raid alert urging residents to go to the nearest shelter and await further updates. Local public broadcaster LRT reports this. “The Lithuanian Armed Forces inform: possible air-raid alert. Go to a safe place. If you see a suspicious object, keep away and call 112. Wait for the all-clear,” the authorities said in an emergency message. According to the National Crisis Management Center (NKVC), fighter jets have been deployed. Controlled airspace around Vilnius Airport has been temporarily closed.
