(LaPresse) – “Yesterday morning, a journalist from an online magazine and a correspondent for a Rai programme – which for months has been broadcasting reports aimed at discrediting me – allegedly provided false personal details and pressured the unsuspecting cleaner into lying and ringing the doorbells of other tenants in the block in order to gain access to the flat I occupy. This incident caused alarm amongst the residents. The self-styled journalist also reportedly asked for information about who was coming and going from the building, which the woman refused to provide. Subsequently, a tenant, concerned about what was happening, discovered two individuals – a man carrying a rucksack and a woman speaking with a Campania accent – lurking on the landing, in front of the flat’s door. To explain themselves, the two, who were clearly embarrassed, reportedly claimed to be cleaning staff, but this was a lie. The Carabinieri are investigating this mysterious and disturbing incident on suspicion of trespass. Investigators have already taken statements from several people and obtained CCTV footage.
