Rome, 4 Oct. (LaPresse) – “I’m happy; we did a great job. I rode well, but you can’t make any mistakes against Marquez. I had to deal with things beyond my control; I tried to push harder, but he had that little bit extra. I’d love to win, but sometimes it’s just not possible – though victory will come.” So said Jorge Martin, the Aprilia rider who finished second in the Japanese Grand Prix. “I really like the next Grand Prix, at Mandalika; I’ve always had a good pace there, though that doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll be fast straight away. I feel privileged to be leading at this stage of the championship, given what Marquez is doing; we’ve got everything we need to compete,” he concluded.
