Milan, 4 Oct. (LaPresse) – The United States is proposing to hold a new trilateral meeting at a technical level, involving Ukraine and Russia, by the end of October. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who is visiting Kyiv today. “The US is currently in contact with both Ukraine and Russia,” said Zelensky, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, adding that Washington is proposing to hold a trilateral meeting at a technical level at the end of October. The venue could be the United Arab Emirates or another country proposed by the US side. At the same time, Zelensky noted that he had no precise information as to whether Russia had received a similar offer. “I know they will propose this to the Russian side, or that they have already done so; I do not know the details,” he remarked, “we will await their response. We are responding positively to the negotiations.”
