(LaPresse) – Vox leader Santiago Abascal, speaking to the press from the party’s headquarters in Madrid, hinted that Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez might rig the elections. “It is excellent news to be able to say that we are finally heading to the polls, even if there is a risk that the bad news”, “received over these eight years of government”, “will get worse if Sánchez manages to manipulate the electoral process – and we know that Sánchez is capable of anything”, Abascal claimed. “Today, first and foremost, I demand free, fair and violence-free elections,” “because I am convinced that some do not want the elections to be held peacefully and will use their own militias on Trampolin Beach” in Ceuta, “to prevent us from addressing the Spanish people freely and on an equal footing,” added the leader of Spain’s far-right party.
