Electoral law: government calls for a vote of confidence in the Chamber of Deputies on three articles

Rome, 5 Oct. (LaPresse) – The government, through the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Luca Ciriani, has called for a vote of confidence in the Chamber of Deputies on Articles 1, 2 and 3 of the electoral law reform, as amended by the Senate at second reading. The vote of confidence will take place tomorrow on Articles 1 and 2, and on Wednesday on Article 3. No vote of confidence is being called on Article 8, which is also due to be approved. The final vote on the bill is expected on Thursday 8 October.
