Rome, 5 Oct. (LaPresse) – The Bergamo Assize Court has reserved its decision on whether to repeat the analysis of evidence from the investigation, in particular the DNA samples, as requested by the lawyers of Massimo Bossetti, the bricklayer from Mapello convicted of the murder of Yara Gambirasio. LaPresse has learnt this from legal sources. Massimo Bossetti’s defence team now has access to the original high-definition photographs of the evidence and to all the DNA samples from the investigation relating to the murder of Yara Gambirasio, the 13-year-old girl from Brembate di Sopra who went missing on 26 November 2010 and was found in a field in Chignolo d’Isola on 26 February 2011, for which Bossetti was definitively sentenced to life imprisonment. Bossetti’s defence team, comprising lawyers Claudio Salvagni and Paolo Camporini, has requested that the samples be re-analysed, as the initial analyses were carried out without them being present.
