The Garlasco murder: a 2007 assessment of Stasi was neither signed nor filed
Rome, 5 Oct. (LaPresse) – In 2007, during the initial investigation into the Garlasco murder, a criminologist was commissioned by the RIS in Parma to carry out a personality analysis of Alberto Stasi, who was already under investigation at the time. This is reported by *La Repubblica*, which specifies, however, that the expert report was not requested by the Vigevano Public Prosecutor’s Office, which was leading the investigation, nor was it subsequently included amongst the documents filed. According to the newspaper, the assessment of Stasi’s character highlighted his alleged ‘coldness’ and his profile as a ‘calculating’ and ‘manipulative’ individual. The 13-page document bears a header stating ‘Dr Alessandra Bramante, Clinical Criminal Psychologist’. However, it bears neither a date nor the professional’s signature.
