(LaPresse) – Donald Trump has put forward his own explanation to justify the persistent rises in petrol and diesel prices in the United States. “What is driving up petrol prices is no longer the Strait of Hormuz – given that a record number of barrels are now being extracted almost every day – but rather the issue of refineries: the Russian ones are being blown up by Ukraine, whilst ours are being shut down in ‘blue’ states, such as California, by the ‘Dumocrats’,” writes the US President on Truth, using the term he coined to describe the Democrats.
