Fuel: MIMIT reports average self-service petrol price at 2.043 euros/l, diesel at 2.244 euros/l

Milan, 6 Oct. (LaPresse) – The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy has announced that, “according to the latest data collected by the MIMIT Fuel Price Observatory, as of today – Tuesday 6 October 2026 – the average self-service fuel price across the national road network stands at 2.043 euros per litre for petrol and 2.244 euros per litre for diesel”. On the motorway network, however, “the average self-service price is 2.054 euros per litre for petrol and 2.267 euros per litre for diesel”.
