Rome, 7 Oct. (LaPresse) – Salim El Koudri, the man who on 16 May in Modena killed a passer-by and injured seven others by running them over with his car, is in hospital following a drug overdose. The Modena attacker is reported to have attempted suicide in prison. This is according to Il Giornale, which adds that the 31-year-old Moroccan is not in a life-threatening condition. He had been placed in the prison’s ‘I Care’ wing, located near the infirmary and specifically designated for prisoners considered to be at risk of suicide.
