Tennis: Alcaraz to Sinner: ‘You’ll come back stronger – keep your chin up’

Milan, 7 Oct. (LaPresse) – “You’ll come back stronger, keep your head held high. I wish you a speedy recovery.” This was Carlos Alcaraz’s response to Jannik Sinner’s comments in a social media video in which the South Tyrolean champion announced that he had ended his tennis season early due to a knee injury. Alcaraz’s words demonstrate once again the great respect between the two. The other Italian top-ten player, Flavio Cobolli, also commented on Sinner’s words: “We’re all waiting for you back on court, Jan. We miss you.”
