Turin, 7 Oct. (LaPresse) – “The platform launched last Monday by the Minister for National Education has already received more than 40,000 submissions. It allows us to hear directly from those who do not always make their voices heard through the usual institutional channels. These submissions are a valuable resource. They will enable us to address these concerns in collaboration with the regional councils.” This was stated by the French Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, in a speech at the Hôtel Matignon regarding the student protests. “In the next eight months leading up to the presidential elections, the government will therefore act pragmatically to meet students’ expectations. We have launched five working groups,” he explained. “The government’s first decisions will be adopted and presented at the end of October,” added the Prime Minister.
