Milan, 7 Oct. (LaPresse) – The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported an incident involving an oil tanker off the coast of Qatar. This was reported by IRNA, which cites a statement issued by the organisation, according to which the incident in question took place 51 nautical miles north of Madinat ash Shamal, in Qatar. “An oil tanker,” the statement reads, “reported that it had been struck by several projectiles. There have also been reports of casualties. The authorities are investigating the incident. Vessels are advised to proceed with caution and to report any suspicious activity” to the UKMTO.
