He is currently in intensive care at the San Camillo Forlanini Hospital and suffered a severe head injury. He underwent surgery performed by the hospital’s neurosurgical team. “At present, his postoperative recovery is proceeding normally. He remains sedated and is receiving intensive care support. His prognosis remains strictly guarded,” according to the medical bulletin issued by the Rome hospital.
