(LaPresse) – Matteo Berrettini’s run came to an end in the second round of the “Rolex Shanghai Masters”, the penultimate ATP Masters 1000 tournament with a prize fund of $9,415,725, currently being played on the hard courts of the Qi Zhong Tennis Centre in the Chinese metropolis. The 30-year-old Roman, ranked 46th in the ATP rankings and a semi-finalist in this tournament in 2019 (where he was knocked out by Zverev), lost 7-6(4) 7-5 in a match lasting one hour and 52 minutes to the American Brandon Nakashima, ranked 19th and seeded 16th.
