Rome, 9 Oct. (LaPresse) – A task force coordinated by the Rome Public Prosecutor’s Office has been set up to shed light on the assault on 42-year-old actor Davide Iacopini, who was kicked by a passenger in a minibus whilst riding his scooter in Monteverde, on Via Barrili. Deputy Public Prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini is overseeing the coordination of the investigations being carried out by the Carabinieri and the local police. The actor remains in hospital at San Camillo in a serious condition. Investigators are examining three other similar incidents in which a black microcar is reported to have been spotted. Witness statements from the victims and CCTV footage are being analysed, as they are considered crucial to reconstructing the events and identifying those responsible.
