Rome, 10 Oct. (LaPresse) – Five people, including two children, have been killed in a Russian attack on Zaporizhia. Mykhailo Semikin, the acting governor of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, announced this in a post on Telegram: “The death toll following this morning’s Russian attack on Zaporizhia has risen to five people,” he wrote. “Among them are two children. A further ten people have been injured. Search and rescue operations at the sites of the attacks are continuing. There may still be people trapped under the rubble. Our deepest condolences go to the families and friends of the victims.” Semikin specified that Moscow had struck “a five-storey residential building”.
