Rome, Oct. 11 (LaPresse) – “All three candidates (Lupi, Perego, Sardone) are good; Rome will decide,” he said. “What is wrong is the attitude of those (FI’s Lombardy coordinator Sorte, ed.) who say: ‘If the League wants primaries, then we can win even without the League.’ Everyone knows the road ahead will not be easy; these tones and attitudes are outside the culture of the center-right.” This was stated by Senate President Ignazio La Russa in an interview with Corriere della Sera. “No one should claim ownership of a candidate… I don’t do that with Lupi, nor does Minister Crosetto with Perego. There was a lot of talk about an independent candidate, yet there are three politicians. People are what matter.”
