Rome, 11 Oct. (LaPresse) – “With all due respect to President Trump, it is up to our society, our people, to choose one leader or another.” This was stated by the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, during an interview with ABC. “It is up to the Ukrainians to decide when to vote, how to do so, and to choose one person over another,” he reiterated. If Russian President Vladimir Putin were to grant “a 60-day truce”, then “we will organise the elections”, the leader in Kyiv emphasised. “Of course, we will be ready to accept whatever choice the Ukrainian people make,” he added.
