Rome, 11 Oct. (LaPresse) – The Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation states that today’s attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh “has resulted in casualties”, without, however, specifying the number. This is reported by Al Jazeera. Damage assessment and safety checks on the facilities are currently underway. The Saudi-led coalition had previously stated that an “unidentified projectile” had struck a passenger terminal at the airport, causing a fire. Saudi air defences also intercepted a missile. An attack on the same airport on Saturday had left 12 people dead and over 300 injured.
