Rome, 13 Oct. (LaPresse) – “There isn’t much else I can say apart from asking you to keep him in your prayers so that this operation goes well and there are no further complications.” This is what Leo XIV’s brother, Louis Prevost, told *Corriere della Sera* on the eve of the Pope’s admission to hospital for the removal of a lump in his lung. “I am sure,” he emphasised, “that he will make a full recovery and continue his mission of leading the Catholic Church.” Louis Prevost is 74 years old; he is one of the Pope’s two elder brothers, lives in Florida and is a veteran of the United States Navy. Louis is also in hospital at the moment, receiving treatment for cancer, but his thoughts are with his younger brother. “I’m sure that prayers help,” he tells the Corriere.
