Former Ilva: second day of industrial action by workers in Genoa

Genoa, 13 Oct. (LaPresse) – The second day of protests for the workers of the former Ilva plant in Genoa, who spent the night in the camp set up outside the Prefecture building in Largo Lanfranco. The meeting resumed at 8 am this morning to decide on the next steps. In the coming hours, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi is expected to arrive in Genoa for a visit and to attend a meeting of the Committee for Public Order and Safety. A group of workers is due to be received at the prefecture this morning.
