Milan, 13 Oct. (LaPresse) – Venezia FC has announced that it “has relieved Giovanni Stroppa of his duties as first-team manager. Under his leadership, the club secured promotion to Serie A in the 2025/26 season, following a Serie BKT campaign in which they were among the frontrunners”. The orange-black-and-green club wishes “to thank Giovanni Stroppa and his staff for their work, professionalism, dedication and commitment shown throughout their time with the orange-black-and-green side”. The defeat in the late kick-off against Atalanta proved to be Stroppa’s undoing, marking the sixth consecutive defeat in as many matches at the start of this season.
