The German, future world No. 1, defeated Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik in three sets after a real battle, winning 7-6(6), 4-6, 7-6(1). In the next round, Zverev will face Australia’s Alex De Minaur, who defeated Russia’s Karen Khachanov in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Frenchman Arthur Gea, world No. 56, is also continuing his run after eliminating No. 4 Ben Shelton and beating Czech player Jakub Mensik in straight sets, 7-6(4), 6-4.
