Milan, 20 Oct. (LaPresse) – “From today, we are beginning to disburse the grants totalling 430 million – which has now risen to approximately 480 million – to clear all applications received up to 30 August from road haulage companies, which was the last application window to open.” So said the Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Edoardo Rixi, on the sidelines of a meeting at the Prefecture in Milan with road haulage associations. “Another window will then be opened for new applications, essentially in early November, which will then be offset against tax credits in 2027,” continued Rixi, who went on to add. “The government has decided to allocate new resources – more than 150 million euros – between the road haulage tax credit and the ETS scheme, to offset the rise in sea freight costs.”
