Turin, 7 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘BigMama will be the first artist to try her hand at commentating on the Italian edition of Eurovision after having been in the competition at the Sanremo Festival. During the three live evenings from the St Jakobshalle in Basel, ‘our’ Lucio Corsi will perform outside the competition during the first semi-final on Tuesday 13th May on Rai 2, and then compete on Saturday 17th May in the grand final, broadcast on Rai 1, with the other 25 finalists. The second semi-final, also broadcast on Rai 2, will be shown on 15 May – reads a note from Rai – It will be possible to follow the highly anticipated event also on Rai Radio 2 and on Channel 202 of the Digital Terrestrial with the commentary in simulcast of the three evenings. ESC 2025 will also be broadcast on RaiPlay’. “This isn't goodbye with Mara Maionchi, but rather see you later”, declared Marcello Ciannamea, Prime Time Entertainment Director, ’looking forward to seeing her back on Rai networks with her verve, her caustic jokes and her great professionalism.
