Rome, 20 Oct. (LaPresse) – “This morning, Minister Salvini is holding a meeting with representatives from the transport sector; we hope that solutions can be found to enable shops, markets and supermarkets to be restocked, starting with medicines – particularly life-saving ones – and then moving on to fresh produce, that is, anything that is perishable; we must prevent any damage to the agricultural sector.” This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, on the sidelines of the Welfare Italia event in Rome. “The government pays close attention to agricultural issues, but we must not allow services to be disrupted, as this ultimately causes harm, particularly to citizens, and brings no benefit,” he added.
