Turin, 24 Oct. (LaPresse) – The five Italian women detained in the West Bank were repatriated this morning. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced this in a statement, explaining that officials from the Italian Embassy in Tel Aviv were able to carry out a consular visit at the airport yesterday evening, during which the women appeared to be in good physical condition. The statement adds that, whilst the consular official was at the airport, the women were allowed to use their mobile phones and all were able to speak to their lawyer at least once by telephone.
