Milan, 25 Oct. (LaPresse) – Goals, spectacle and thrills between Atalanta and Frosinone on matchday 8 of Serie A. A heart-stopping match in Bergamo ended 4-4, with the team from Ciociaria taking the lead twice in the first half before being pegged back by La Dea, who in turn were pegged back twice. The match got off to a flying start and, after just one minute, a massive error by Ederson led to Schmid’s goal. The Austrian scored his first Serie A goal and then went on to complete his first brace in the 17th minute, though Krstovic had temporarily levelled the score in the 14th minute. Frosinone played well, but Atalanta grew into the game and turned the result around towards the end of the half. First, Ederson converted a penalty to make it 2–2 in the 33rd minute, then Krstovic found the net again in the 45th minute. In the second half, Alvini’s side levelled the score at 3–3 through Calo in the 48th minute, but the excitement wasn’t over yet. In the 50th minute, Elmas put La Dea back in front following an assist from Krstovic, but in the 82nd minute, Frosinone secured the final 4–4 draw with a left-footed strike into the top corner from Terzic. This result sees Frosinone climb provisionally to sixth place in the table on their own with 14 points, whilst Atalanta sit eleventh with 10 points, four points behind today’s opponents.
