Rome, 26 Oct. (LaPresse) – Eighteen requests for convictions against activists from the former Askatasuna social centre. This is the request made by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office at the appeal hearing, which seeks to have the offence of criminal association recognised – a charge that was dismissed at first instance. On 25 March 2025, the court had convicted all eighteen defendants of individual offences, imposing sentences ranging from five months to four years and nine months, without, however, recognising the offence of criminal association.
