Milan, 27 Oct. (LaPresse) – “Enrico Mattei believed deeply in Italy. In its talent, its capabilities, its strength. And above all, in the possibility of building a future for our nation that would live up to its great potential. He had the courage to think big, to look beyond the limits of his own time and to imagine an Italy capable of asserting itself with authority on the international stage. Sixty-four years after his death, we remember a man of extraordinary vision and determination, whose example continues to inspire our commitment, not least through the Mattei Plan. This, too, is part of his legacy: the conviction that Italy must never stop believing in itself.” Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote this on Instagram.
